The therapist Ms. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker who is bicultural and bilingual. She's worked in a variety of settings, such as with LGBTQ+ individuals, people who suffer from substance abuse issues and survivors of sexual assault, and partners who have been sexually assaulted. In 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. Telehealth services are currently available in Behavioral Health. Ms. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal Team that assists post-partum and prenatal mothers, is a trauma-informed therapist for adult patients and is an expert in trauma care. She can provide individual or group therapy, as well as a medication assisted treatment program. Special care referrals are also available. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, helping animals in need find forever new homes.
