Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son of Richard McCormick. Her father worked as a teacher and her mother was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. From a young age, McCormick was a singer and dance and would often present puppet shows to youngsters in the area. McCormick won in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 and was contacted via Pat Domigan, a talent agent with the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to work in the show business. McCormick was commissioned to perform in her first big role in 1964 in the tv spot for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The commercial was re-run in 1964, for the Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon she was given the main character in Wind It up and It breaks, a production in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 200 auditioned kids, played the third of three head-to-head daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969), starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The five-year run of The Brady Bunch was an enormous success. McCormick's autobiography Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in 2008. The book revealed that McCormick nearly lost her virginity on the stage of the show during its fifth season to Barry Williams. The actress was sixteen years old and the actor was aged 19 at the at the time. The woman said it might be possible, however we didn't have the proper moment to make the decision.
